A ceasefire should mean safety. A chance to return home. Yet ongoing violations and insecurity mean many families in #Lebanon cannot return home. With the support of @eu_echo, we help address urgent protection needs. #EUHumanitarianAid #EUCivilProtection

A ceasefire should bring safety. In #Lebanon, it has brought continued fear, displacement, and destruction: hostilities have surged by 85% since the so-called ceasefire began. Families deserve protection, not another cycle of fear and displacement. shorturl.at/n1kYw

More than 20% of #Lebanon’s population has been displaced. People need peace, stability and support in rebuilding their lives. Hostilities by all parties and Israel's occupation of southern Lebanon must end immediately.

Over 1 million people in Lebanon are displaced by ongoing hostilities. Mohammed’s story is just one among a million lives uprooted by war. Needs are rising faster than available resources. Urgent support is needed to ensure safe and dignified living conditions.

Back in August, I met with our team in Mazar-e-Sharif along with recent returnees from Iran & Pakistan. We’re witnessing on a daily basis the needs of the ground increase while funding continues to shrink. The international community cannot leave the people #Afghanistan behind.
Earlier this year, we reported from Mazar-e-Sharif on the challenges Afghans face when returning from Iran and Pakistan. Now, with winter coming and funding cuts hitting hard, the needs are becoming urgent. Donors must not abandon Afghan returnees.

Over 1,400 dead and 3,100 injured in eastern #Afghanistan. Urgent humanitarian aid is needed, and forcing Afghans to return will only deepen the crisis. NRC urges neighbouring countries to suspend deportations and support the earthquake response, together with local authorities.
