For DT week, the learners in Gambia Class have been learning about different types of mechanisms. They all made sliders that replicated a castle. They each chose an animal or character for their sliders, sliding along the battlements. @GosbertonAcad

Today, we had a range of activities based on the characters from Inside Out. We had a Joy table cutting things we love from the catelogue, an anger table making stress balls, an Anxiety table practising some breathing and created our own mood monsters too! #MentalHealthMatters

We enjoyed learning all about Chinese/Lunar New Year this afternoon. We read the story of The Great Race and learnt which Zodiac animal represented our birth years. We also got to taste some Asian food and a delicious Fortune Cookie π #ChineseNewYear2025
