Always been fond of St Bridget my mom Bríd was a fan. I used to get her a primrose on the 1st of February. I try now to make a cross or two this time of year to remember mom and the saint. Extraordinary women both.

This high tech solution to phones in the classroom came in at €13. Has been in operation for 3 years and I estimate that next year and additional €0 will be needed to maintain the service. There was no lobbying from Argos as part of this installation.

All material including sample papers and marking schemes should be available well in advance of any roll out. My research showed that JC suffered badly as those giving CPD did not have answers to reasonable teacher questions.

“In education ‘lethal mutation’ can be used to describe the phenomenon of perfectly sensible approaches to teaching being misunderstood or misapplied, to the point that they become harmful to students’ outcomes.” Also a symptom of insufficient CPD Senior Cycle here we come.
