Since this scene was a mix of 2D and 3D animation, it was extremely complex and challenging to make work. I had to make sure all the action timing was prepared in advance. Many people worked incredibly hard to make this possible

I am very, VERY excited for VF Crossroads. The story content is exactly what I predicted... though that wasn't really a hard guess, given RGG's pedigree and background 😅

There were no real story modes to speak of, not even any lore-expanding pre fight banter. There was nothing to elevate the characters beyond their gameplay.
I think RGG knows this is a problem, and I bet VF6 is going to have a deep story mode resembling the Like a Dragon series.
