1/ Kiln 1.1.8 is out, and it's a big step toward AI agents running real production, not just hobby prints. Your agent can now judge if a part survives the real world, pick the glue that truly holds it, write factory-floor instructions in 7 languages, and more 🧡

8/ Also in 1.1.8: feed Kiln a filament's datasheet and your agent designs with it (Business), load answers that admit when they're only an estimate (free), each printer's nozzle now shows in fleet status, and more. Read more: kiln3d.com/blog/kiln-1-1-8 pip install --upgrade kiln3d

This is the whole reason for building Kiln. A user pointed their agent at a @BambulabGlobal A2L (which came out this week), and it just worked first try. No tweaking. Agents running real machines isn't someday, it's now. πŸ™πŸ”₯
impressed by the 3 day turnaround. i tried the agent on the A2L and it synced without my tweaking. what’s the biggest hiccup you saw on first run?

1/ The @BambulabGlobal A2L launched June 1. Kiln supported it 3 days later. Connect the A2L, point your AI agent at it, and it's already dialed in: ready to design, slice, and print, with no setup on your end. A thread 🧡:

1/ Kiln 1.1.7 is out. Command your @BambulabGlobal printer to dry its own filament, clear a backed-up print queue in one tap, report a bug as you chat with your agent, and more. A thread 🧡
