A GM is a waste of money. I don't care whether you're talking about WBB, MBB, FB, or whatever. It's another way to piss away funds. Considering that the majority of schools take $$ from their students either as fees or directly from campus to support to athletics, it's disgusting

#ArizonaSB is currently projected to have 18 players after the signing of the 3 transfers. This isn't a program that's going to carry the full 25. It's never been the tendency to have huge rosters at Arizona. IMO, they probably need to add 3 more, though: P, C, and MIF or OF.

Brittingham would be a great get because she can play C/OF/DP. Her stats don't suggest elite defense, but Arizona is very good at coaching defense and DP doesn't require it, anyway.

Several of the top catchers have already committed elsewhere. This is an area of extreme need for Arizona. When your only catcher is someone who wasn't even listed as a catcher on your roster until a week or so ago, you need at least two. This is as important as pitching for UA.

Probably the top option that I think Arizona might have a shot at is Ilove'a Brittingham from BYU. Kairi Rodriguez is still out there, but she's from Florida whereas Brittingham is from California. Might have more challenges getting Rodriguez from across the country.
