I know I’m forgetting something. Is it something I’m supposed to do for the family? For work? Is it a chore? An errand? Something small? Huge? Will I be able to teach tomorrow if I don’t remember? All I do know is my anxiety is going through the roof…let tonight’s game begin!

Teachers don't leave because it's hard. Teachers are some of the hardest working professionals I know. They leave because the expectations and demands become more unrealistic every year.

I asked a friend who's a criminal defense lawyer what he'd change about the world to fix the most problems. He specializes in death penalty cases, so he's seen a lot. I expected him to say drugs, but he said if he could change one thing, it would be to make people better parents.
