🚨Today, Senate Republicans advanced a FY 27 bipartisan budget agreement that delivers:
✔️ No tax on tips
✔️ No tax on overtime
✔️ Childcare tax relief
✔️ Enhanced child tax credits
✔️ New retirement tax deduction for Arizona seniors
✔️ Property tax relief for disabled veterans
✔️ $1.45 billion in tax relief over four years
Arizona is the only state in the nation to fully enact President Trump’s historic tax cuts at the state level. Hardworking Arizonans are able to keep more of their paychecks because of it.

OVERHEARD AT THE SENATE: An Arizona Democrat tried turning one lobbyist-funded lunch into two. 🍗
A lobbying firm paid for a catered meal that fed over 100 people on Monday. That same evening, the firm told the restaurant the event was a success.
The Democrat lawmaker whined the chicken was “overcooked and dry” — and demanded they remake the entire order for pickup on Saturday, June 27.
Why a Saturday… when the Senate is closed? 🤔
Not tomorrow. Not leftovers. A brand new feast for 100 people nearly a month later — all on the lobbyist’s dime. 💰
The paying customer was blindsided. They never approved it.

Amazing how we all sat through the same press conference where victims and advocates testified that Medicaid fraud and exploitation are STILL HAPPENING TODAY on tribal lands in Arizona, and the media’s takeaway is “but what about Ducey?”
No tough questions for Governor Hobbs or Attorney General Mayes, who are the ones currently running state government while victims say this is still happening.
That’s not journalism. That’s narrative protection for the people currently in power.

The GOP budget has passed the Joint Appropriations Committee as Dems attempted to obstruct Arizona's progress by voting NO.
$1.45 billion in tax relief.
$800 million less spending than Hobbs' plan.
That's a responsible Republican budget.
✔️Republicans acted early this year to align state tax laws and provide certainty during tax filing season.
🚫Hobbs vetoed
✔️Lawmakers then sent a second bill to update state law to align with forms issued by the Department of Revenue.
