When you’ve taken on one hell of a gig and know that the guy she’s replacing was one of the hardest hitters on top of being a technical master. This is the best photo of Anika Nilles yet with Rush.

Rush on their second night night of a four night stay and the Los Angeles Forum swapped 9 songs and also played 2112 in its entirety. Rush has never done anything like that before. I've seen them every year since 1978 and I'm blown away at how good they are now, much better than the last several tours. Their new drummer, Neil's replacement, Anika, is beyond amazing. She's brought a freshness to the band, and you can see it in Alex and Geddy. Also a shout to the their added keyboardist and backup vocals @lorengold

She's a pro, yet jealous men are ugly crying. The pressure to perform w/legends and pulling it off superbly is huge. She's not trying to take his place. Everyone was happy to hear Rush songs live again.

To every out-of-stater screaming at lifelong Californians to “just leave” after this election: How fucking dare you.
We were born here. We raised our families here. Built businesses, bought homes, and spent our entire lives bleeding in the trenches against this machine - while you watched from safer states.
Telling us to abandon the Golden State we love is unforgivable. It’s a slap to every California kid who grew up believing in the dream this place once represented.

Just got back from being in San Diego all day for work. I drove around before coming back home. I hadnt realized how pretty it is there. Even the freeways are pretty. So much of it is near water. The traffic got bad, but still didnt feel as bad as LA.

No matter what Spencer says, the NBC asks another Trump question. There is nothing he can say that doesn’t prompt another “Trump” response from the media
Spencer gets frustrated because NBC won’t shut up about Trump, he says “This conversation is what's destroyed local elections”
And he’s right because the media makes everything about tribalism and not about doing what’s best for everyone in a city
No matter how many times Spencer says he’s only focusing on LA, it’s brought back to Trump by the media
