Fighting against Templars would have made an amazing second expansion. Huge missed opportunity from Ubisoft. I’m sure you would have made something huge. There should also have been more activities to explore the open world before the final update, and not just a new game mode. I wanted more reasons to explore it again. But I’m also sure this update is going to be incredible from what it looks like, and I’m really excited. I’m so excited for tomorrow’s Shadows update. 🥷🌙 I hope it gives us a strong conclusion to the story, but I also hope it adds something that improves the game’s replayability after finishing it. Instead, players will be encouraged to keep exploring the world, complete remaining content, and take on optional challenges, including Weapons and enemies even stronger than the final boss. 🌎 The biggest world in the trilogy Hamaguchi says Revelation is confidently being treated as an open-world game. The world will span almost the whole planet, with connected regions, oceans, continents, skies, and the freedom to fly around with the Highwind. 🐤 Pico and Chocobo progression Instead of multiple regional Chocobos like in Rebirth, Revelation will focus more on Pico. What I’d still love to see in the final Assassin’s Creed Shadows update, beyond what is already coming: 🔹 More open world activities and surprises Shadows’ world building is one of its biggest strengths, so I’d love to see more reasons to keep exploring and more ways to make that beautiful world feel alive after the final update 🔹 A more utopian wish: modding support If Ubisoft truly does not want to make more DLC, giving players the tools to create their own content would be such an amazing way to keep this world alive Shadows still has so much potential. 🥲 #AssassinsCreedShadows
