🧠 SUMMIT LAN - HOW THEY WON🧠
🇦🇹
@Vicotryona and 🇷🇺
@MalibucaFN
⭐️ Summary:
Excellent in every stage of the game, ranking in the Top 5 teams for Net Damage (new surge) in early, mid and endgame and getting elims at the most important times.
1⃣ Early Game:
- In early game, having the 5th-best net damage and having positive net damage in 7/8 games helped them towards being the only team to never get hit by surge at the LAN.
- Their 3 closest challengers only had positive net damage in 3/8 early games - a huge consistency advantage for Vic0 and Mali.
2⃣ Midgame:
- 3rd-best net damage continues their surge advantage.
- Also very important is the 13 elims (2nd most of all teams) they got in zones 4-7. Many teams play very passive if they're above surge, but Vic0 and Mali were busy getting refreshes to go into endgame with max resources.
- The other Top 4 teams also had good midgames, but were sometimes simply recovering from poor earlygame damage.
- Acorn and Boltz had good early games and excellent damage in midgame, but their lack of elims in midgame likely meant that they weren't set up for endgame as well as Vic0 and Mali.
3⃣ Endgame:
- 3rd best endgame net damage without playing height is very impressive (shoutout
@darmfn_ and
@DemusFN for their endgame stats too).
- They were consistent survivors by using the mats they entered endgame with.
- They stayed alive together (only 20 solo clutch points), which means they would still have won the tourney if they left every game when one of them was eliminated.
- Peterbot and Pollo dominated height in endgames, which always leads to crazy net damage numbers. But they didn't win because of their lack of consistency in early/midgames.
