Yesterday me and my Year 9/10/11 virtual physics class calculated the specific heat capacity of water using my 1250 w microwave and a meat thermometer. When then calculated that it was only 40% efficient... 🤷♀️ #physicsathome @PlumsteadManor @IOPTeaching #energy
