By now you may have seen the horrific video coming out of Belfast. We all have to be careful not to incite trouble or violence, but let’s be honest. These things are simply no longer acceptable in our societies. It seems the men of Northern Ireland have had enough and there is talk of mass protests and the complete closing down of Belfast at 7pm tonight…and inevitably there will be trouble.
If it happens in Northern Ireland there is every chance it will happen in Ireland as well. What has been done to those countries from a % demographics basis is horrendous, and quite frankly I’m surprised it has been tolerated for so long.
All of our nations feel at breaking point and events in Northern Ireland tonight might be indicative of what’s to come 😢

I feel like most philosophy is just a practice of using convoluted abstraction to seek answers for problems that could be easily solved with a grounded understanding of physics, biology, evolution, and engineering.
