Yesterday an Iranian girl at the university in Tehran was attacked by the ‘morality Police’ for not wearing her hijab properly so she took off her clothes in protest. This artwork says everything about the struggle of women inside Iran and the smallness of the regime that oppresses them.

The brother of the late Rory Gallagher has said that he’s “thrilled to bits” after hearing that Rory’s 1961 Fender Stratocaster guitar will be donated to the National Museum of Ireland by Live Nation.

Last night @bonhams1793 an event was held ahead of the auction of Rory's instrument collection. @MusicDomMartin & @Laurencemusic played sets and jammed together on 'Bullfrog Blues' and Seamie O'Dowd played an impromptu version of 'As the Crow Flies' on Rory's National Triolian.
🎸Rory Gallagher guitar: Tánaiste Micheál Martin has hinted that one of the State’s cultural institutions could move to buy the late Irish rock star Rory Gallagher’s signature Fender Stratocaster guitar, which goes up for auction later this week.
The 1961 Sunburst Fender Stratocaster will go under the hammer at Bonham’s Auction House in London on Thursday.
