The cost to Australia? What’s the cost of NOT getting to net zero by 2050? #QandA
#QandA Financialisation of housing is like the Necrotizing fasciitis of society. Eating our hearts out!
For middle-class women Fiona. Poorer women have always had to work and parent #QandA

#qanda gender pay gap is systemic not individual. Women’s skills are undervalued #caregiving whether for children, elderly, sick. #payequity

errr...not wanting to be a grammar nerd but, shouldn't that be plural as in there seemed to be several TOTT tossers on #QandA tonight. But Mr #TheAustralian did take the cake for totally missing both gender and Indigenous realities. #justsayin
Just got home. Who is this arrogant tosser talking over the top of Sam Mostyn. Did he miss the memo? #qanda
Finally...a compassionate scientific approach to obesity from @mradjenkinson1 w. insights into Leptin resistance & cortisol. Look fwd to reading WWE2M to explain ongoing obesity from an 'endocrine-cured' ACTH-functioning pituitary tumour! Thx @doctors_kitchen
Watching #QandA tweet, “let 16yr olds vote”. A response “Too young, no life experience, too easily swayed by banality.” Needless to say 🤦🏼‍♀️ it was a man! These ‘kids’ make more sense of their life experience than police commissioners & prime ministers bit.ly/3cJarDF

#QandA Well over time to give 16 year olds the vote. Their brains & insights are needed to guide the future.

Are there rules? Have just caught B343 from city to Crows Nest for medical appt. No soc distancing practised 🙆🏼‍♀️ Why not have AM:PM buses just for high school students?
Health advice will allow more people to use public transport from 1 July. As restrictions ease, it’s more important than ever to stick to the rules! Look out for the green dots. For more info please visit: nsw.gov.au/media-releases/he…
#SwimandGo. Hmmm, maybe someone #forgot to explain these verbs to the people sunning at Lady Bay @GladysB said “keep your social distance” till we know more about the numbers. No wonder @Woolharamc is a #COVID19 #hotspot @smh @ABCthedrum
Buses, trains and trams. They’re like wide open prairies compared to ... lifts. My question is around the math of #elevating ~500,000 workers into their offices in a timely way. Like ... before it’s time to go home 🤦🏼‍♀️
My question on reopening workplaces is how is public transport going to work? I’m not inclined to get back on a rush hour bus, train or tram anytime soon. How do others feel?

hmmm, #surveillancecapitalism has been watching us far more than government have #qanda
Who will be as #realistic #prescient as CEO of AirNZ abt what future of many businesses will be after COVID19? World is unlikely to return to normal in this 21stC of Corona viruses. Globalism—tourism, trade, supply chains, migration etc—will change immensely #quanda
#askAtwood Yes, we can vote. In 3 years time. Isn’t that too late?Shouldn’t we be ‘out on the streets’ of suburbs & cities, outside schools? Right now. What’s your view on power of direct unrelenting non-violent actions to drive pace of change needed to avert climate crisis?

Time to follow the Dutch and find solutions to managing excess rain by working with natural environmental features rather than man-made engineering. If we valued water as #priceless we wouldn’t waste it, or sell it cheaply.
In a country often afflicted by drought, we call it ‘stormwater’ & happily let it flow down our drains & gutters & out to sea. So thoughtless, so profligate. Instead we should be capturing it, recycling it in every way that we can. Water our most precious resource-let’s save it

Inspiring & humbling to hear Dr Hung The Nguyen’s stories on how to improve Aboriginal health care. Insights that all healthcare politicians, policy advisors, bureaucrats & professionals shd absorb. As a patient w. chronic diseases/social activist, I applaud his focus. #EFI2020
What a great resource #opentoall at Australian Urban Observatory @RMIT_CUR Look forward to exploring data that is contextual. Where it’s easy to see how ‘well’, how #liveable our place is. What’s good. What’s missing. Changemaking data for #liveability #EFI2020
