7. Web performance and vitals: Shopify has realized that the Google Lighthouse scoring has several limitations and often is not representative of the actual customer shopping experience. Their new web performance data uses actual customer experience interactions including network speed/device type/OS etc to overcome limitations These are similar metrics that Shopify uses to judge the stability and performance of apps as well. The graph below is the key information that I'd keep my eye on - what % of users had a poor experience and how does this trend month on month. All efforts to improve performance should be geared in this direction. For data nerds, you can access the raw data as well via a public API and analyze it yourself using SQL/python/Excel.
