Does anyone have experience with myc-tag purification of proteins, particularly w/ detergent? My myc-tagged lipoprotein is almost completely in the flowthrough, very little binding. Sample is in 0.5% DDM for solubilization. Too much? Does myc purification tolerate detergent? πŸ†˜πŸ™

This week I was confused why my Western didn't work. I later realized it was because I completely skipped adding my secondary. That was a first for me, it's never too late to make new mistakes!

The bacterial cell wall is important for their physiology but what are its impacts on their interaction with the host? How do we then take advantage of this to cripple pathogens? Check out our hot-off-the-press review article to find out more! @ivo_boneca doi.org/10.1146/annurev-micr…
