Transcript: "[Heated Rivalry aired at the] same time on Crave as it was on HBO, so a lot of Americans saw it, and then a lot of—you know it was on HBO Latin America, HBO Europe—so, a lot of people got to see the show, and they really, really loved it. But I think we kinda undervalue people here [in Canada] a little bit, because we have so many talented people, and I feel like there’s almost this idea that we have to go to the States to get people to be in our stuff, so it will be “good.” And I feel like this proved that you don’t need to do that. Like, no one knew who any of us were before this, like any of the lead young actors. And it was such a good opportunity for us, but also to show them how many people we have up here that can make these amazing things, you know, behind the scenes. The writers and directors and Jacob Tierney and Brendan Brady, they did such a good job assembling a team of people who are really passionate and it showed in the way that people responded to it, I think."
