Eight communities were visited in the endemic area, Ahanta West, for the second round of sampling. We had to get our car out of the mud to continue with work on the second day. Thanks to the men in the nearby village who came to help. #NTDs #Filariasis #LF

Team #KwartengLab tripped to the Ahanta West distract to continue with work on #LF_Stress. The endemic communities visit are Butre, Busua, Achowa, Dixcove and Cape Three Points, all in Ahanta West.

Cape Three Points was the new entrant. The team met opinion leaders of the community, and then a talk with the community, on our mission. We were warmly welcomed. Some patients were also recruited and interviewed on the mental stress caused by the disease. #LF #BeatNTDs
