I‘m driving Offenburg - Strasbourg again, now one of my last shifts on this line, because I quit. Yes, I quit today from driving internationally. From July on I’ll do Germany only. Less money for me, but I will not go through a hell of a summer with these old trains again, nope.

So today I was told that we are definitely not going to use the new Régiolis trains between Offenburg and Strasbourg starting this Sunday or anytime soon in the near future… BaWü and Région Grand-Est can not come to an financial agreement, so we have to go on with the old diesel

But that would be the case if there is still no financial agreement until December, then we would just step back completely from the international operations and I would have learned a train I’ll never drive 😂🙈

Honestly I wish we would just step out of this shit show right now and just hand over that line completely to SNCF and wish them good luck with it, because the way it is right now is just not good, nice, fun or anything good… Then I would rather prefer to do Germany only again.

Was just asked if I could check out one of our German trains before I drive to Strasbourg, apparently the train protection is not working. Yup, can confirm, none of them is working, even after a hard reset 😅 Sent it to the workshop ~ Now doing Offenburg - Strasbourg again.

Doing Offenburg - Strasbourg again today. Actually I had a German service today, but a SNCF certified driver called in sick so I was asked to take over his service. So far so chill though, shitty weather, not too many passengers. One of four engines not working on this one though

And another beautiful day, doing a German service again today, then two days off ~ Actually I was supposed to have a trainee with me today, but when I started my service I was told the trainee asked for a different service with another driver 🤷🏻♂️Oh well, not that I mind, silence ~

And I’m doing my last Offenburg - Strasbourg service today, tomorrow and Tuesday I’ll do German services ~ First train from Offenburg to Strasbourg was full to the brim again, nobody left behind though 👍🏻 Had a police incident in my train in Kehl though, passengers called police-

- because apparently a man in the rear unit randomly insulted passengers and yelled around and so on. So I was stopped by police for a few minutes, the passenger was then removed from the train by police officers 👍🏻

Yesterday while I was in Strasbourg a passenger comes up and complains at me why we only drive with two units and why we don’t couple up a third, I explained that we only have 5 in total and that one is in the workshop and I said I’m not responsible for that. Then he says I’m ->

Good evening from the empty Strasbourg station, I’m the last train ~ To my surprise I didn’t leave any people behind today, only my colleague had one train where he left a couple people in Offenburg and around 100 people in Appenweier behind. But I got everyone with me today ~

Phew, yet my shift was without leaving anyone behind, but now the last train of my service from Offenburg to Strasbourg was so full that I had to leave behind:
- 60 people in Offenburg
- 40 people in Appenweier
- 10 people in Legelshurst
