@UNICEFData’s newly released report, The Power of Play: A Global Data Story, finds that in more than 80 million children aged 2-4, around one in five worldwide, do not play with a parent or caregiver at home. This week, were pleased to host a representative from @UNICEFUganda at New Star Home Learning Centre in Adjumani District, one of the centres established through the Strengthening Early Childhood and Childcare Services Delivery Project.
The visit included discussions with community leaders, parents, and Centre Management Committee members, as well as observation of an ECD session.

We’ve held an inception meeting the leadership at the Rubaga Division headquarters in Kampala. ahead of the rollout of the Kulea Watoto 2.0 project. Consortium partners under the ECD & livelihoods project were present and this will be implemented in Kampala & Yumbe districts.
