Today is the International Day of Play.
Play supports learning. Play builds confident, curious children. Play is every child's right.
Yet 1 in 5 children aged 2–4 do not play with their caregivers at home.
At @LABE_UG, we believe protecting play means protecting childhood, in every home, every community.
What does play look like in your community? Tell us below.

Home learning centres bring early learning closer to children through safe, structured spaces within communities. Families turn homes into simple learning points where children can play, learn, and grow with support from trained caregivers. - @Executive_LABE
Different sectors are working to reduce malnutrition, expand access to pre-primary education, & improve child health & wellbeing. It's important to ensure these priorities are aligned with @GovUganda frameworks & translate into measurable results.

Parenting is a journey filled with love, challenges, sacrifices, and endless learning. Yet many parents and caregivers are expected to navigate this journey with little support.
This #ParentingMonth, let's recognize that supporting parents is one of the most effective ways to help children thrive.
When caregivers are empowered, children are more likely to grow, learn, and reach their full potential.

Today is #GlobalDayOfParents
This year's theme, "Together for Parents", couldn't ring more true. No parent or caregiver should have to do it alone.
We walk with parents, building knowledge, skills & community through our Family Basic Education (FABE) model.
To every parent: we see you. Thank you.
