Higher RMPS pupils thoroughly enjoyed their time listening to Graeme this morning.
A huge thank you to Scottish writer Graeme Armstrong (The Young Team) for joining us today & delivering an impactful talk on Scottish gang culture, social history, & personal resilience to 200 pupils. His lived insights on trauma, aspiration & youth culture certainly resonated!!

Well done to our senior pupil who was awarded the prize for Advanced Higher Graphic Communication at the Scottish Technology Teachers Association conference on Saturday. He received the subject's top mark in Scotland at the recent SQA examinations.

Happy Diwali! Members of our Cultural Connections committee have been delivering sessions to S1 classes this week. These sessions are a fantastic way to build cultural awareness and create a more connected, understanding school environment. @Linlithgow_Acad

Super work from S1s. After looking at how people have practiced medicine over time, our pupils made their own judgements on how good a job they did, and justified their decisions - brilliant thinking 🧐 #historyteacher #historystudent

Our end of term newsletter is now available. As always it is extremely impressive & illustrates the amount of opportunities open to our young people and the amount of work that has gone on over what has been an extremely busy term! You can view it here: sway.cloud.microsoft/tRf0QpS…

S3 didn’t just find out about the DORA laws - they really thought through the implications. Graphic organisers can be great #historyteacher

S2 looked at the challenging concept of historiography in social subject this week. They didn’t just ‘get’ it, they smashed it! For info, on Vikings, 2K1 are mostly traditionalists rather than revisionists. #history #challenge #historiography #historyteacher

A great wee note taking activity inspired by @CatHSHumanities. Higher pupils are currently looking at how compatible religious and scientific explanations for the origins of the universe are. 5 key points, with icons to aid recall and support dual coding.
