As of 6:00 a.m., my kitten army has successfully taken over the Louisiana SPCA. Offices occupied. Laptops sat on. Important papers have been aggressively knocked to the floor.

The Louisiana SPCA will be closed on Saturday, February 14 and Tuesday, February 17, 2026.
We will reopen for normal operations on Monday, February 16 and Wednesday, February 18.
For animal emergencies during the closure, please call 9-1-1 for immediate assistance.
