We spend so much time hyping: - ​Authors who are already famous - ​Covers that cost thousands - ​Books with massive PR teams ​Meanwhile, indie authors are out there writing absolute masterpieces with zero traction. ​Give a "small" author a chance today. You might just find your new favorite world. 📚

D2D will now be charging an annual fee if you don't earn enough money from your books. The only book that I've published through them is my first book, Fated to Meet You. While I understand where they're coming from, I also don't have the means to pay yearly for something I subscribed to use for free. I will be deleting my D2D account within the next 30 days, but in the meantime I will also try to see if I can keep my book's ratings and reviews. I've already been contemplating leaving D2D, so this makes things "easier" for me.

Draft2Digital is instituting activation and maintenance fees, and Barnes and Noble Press is establishing a higher base sales price. Going to have to dump both of them. It’s just brutal to be an indie author right now. This economy sucks eggs.
