Molly moved in today with her 11 month old son 😊 this was the message she sent us
"I can't believe I've actually got my own home now, and I don't have to worry I'm gonna get thrown out any minute. He's gonna have his own room. Thank you so much, it doesn't feel real"

We have excellent nonprofit housing providers in England doing this @Giroscope_Hull @CanopyCan @LATCHLeeds @CCampus87 @GroundworkGM and council schemes like @NUEKent what we need is investment and better powers to allow this to happen more, happen faster and happen everywhere.

There's no place like home - LATCH creates homes for homeless families in Leeds, we support, upskill and provide mental health services to 100's of people every year. As a community organisation we rely on donations and every pound will make a real difference - thank you

Progress! No.42 is a house that was abandoned for over 20 years. Full of pigeons, rats and damp. We're turning into a lovely, good quality, supported home for a homeless family ... we think it's starting to look good what do you think? #Leeds

Since this time last year Latch has
• Housed 261 homeless adults and children
• Two x 2 bedroom homes created
• Three x 1 bedroom flats created
• 47 people living independently
• 9 unemployed trainees gained construction skills
