Pleased to see international recognition for one of 🇱🇻’s development cooperation implementers, Centre MARTA. The Simone Veil Prize for Gender Equality of the French Republic, received by Iluta Lāce, is well deserved for the long-standing support for women affected by violence.
#FeministForeignPolicy | The 8th Simone Veil Prize of the French Republic for promotion of gender equality has been awarded to Marta, represented by its director Iluta Lāce.
Marta is a Latvian centre that provides women who are victims of domestic violence with psychological and legal support.
