Battle of Highway 43 did not disappoint! Our three high school welding classes collaborated to host a competition showcasing the talented young men and women at LCHS, LHS, & SHS. Unbelievable community support on display and some expensive equipment and tools to the competitors.

4th graders teacher and former student invited me to the fun of Gingerbread House making at Ethridge Elementary this morning. I asked a student what happens when they get icing/frosting on the fingers? Finger licking good was the response!!

Management By Walking Around and found these 3rd graders exploring carnivals and fairs via Virtual Reality (VR) Goggles at Ethridge Elementary. I didn’t need goggles to know what they were seeing-they were announcing what they saw!

Out and about and stumbled upon online safety lesson at Leoma Elementary School. The Don’ts for online safety! Always follow your “Gut.” Good advice for everything we do.

After a few days away from the action, glad to be back in schools, seven schools today, then afternoon activities involving elementary basketball and finishing the day at Ethridge School’s Pirates! The Musical! Busy day, lot of windshield time, but well worth it.
