When we announced the Meta Data Center in Richland Parish, I said this investment would touch every inch of the community.
This wasn’t just a catchy talking point— it was the truth.
Great to see our teachers reaping the benefits of this massive announcement! knoe.com/2026/06/09/some-ric…
This morning I joined @LEDLouisiana for their Nuclear Energy Summit in New Orleans.
Here, Turner Industries made the announcement that they will be opening two nuclear fabrication facilities in New Iberia and Port Allen. The sites will be dedicated to the production of high-precision modules and nuclear-grade piping for the next generation of nuclear reactors.
It was also great to welcome Chairman of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission Ho K. Nieh to Louisiana, and demonstrate to him how Louisiana’s all of the above energy approach continues to fuel America!
#CERAWeek Reflections:
At CERAWeek, Paige Carter, Chief Business Development Officer at Louisiana Economic Development, shared her perspective on nuclear’s growing role—from deployment to building a resilient supply chain.
Save the date: CERAWeek 2027, March 8–12.
