Thirteen. Lads. Thirteen. Even assuming Arsenal were to win their game in hand that'd be ten with ten to go. It's starting to feel real.

It's funny because Argentina have a trash claim to them and only care about them as much as they do because the brutal military dictatorship needed a foreign enemy to rally people around and getting their asses kicked was the proximate cause of said dictatorship's downfall.

It's kinda funny in a global geopolitics sorta way. The dictatorship bet England wouldn't care enough to start shooting and Argentina weirdly owe a lot to the fact they did as it ended the dictatorship but it's also led to an obsession with some dots off the continental shelf.

Worried that after how hard we ran Sunday we might be the ones whose energy levels drop here so. Y'know. Second goal. Take the pressure off a little. That'd be nice.

He's already lost more home PL games for Man Utd than Klopp did with Liverpool in 9 years 😭😭 He's only had 7 games.
Another home game, another defeat for Ruben Amorim at Old Trafford in the Premier League 😬

I kind of disagree with Slot (and others)? If PSG finish 23rd/24th they face 9th/10th (currently Dortmund & Bayern) and the winner play the side that finish 8th and get a bye. First/second get 15-18th after the bye (Benfica/Monaco/Sporting/Feyenoord). liverpooloffside.sbnation.co…

It's a lot but 23rd/24th don't pair with 1st/2nd. 23rd/24th pair with 9th/10th in the playoff and the winner (which you expect most years to be 9th & 10th) then play 7th/8th in R16. 15th/16th pair with 17th/18th for the knockout and the winners play 1st/2nd in R16.

In 1893-94 Manchester United were known as Newton Heath and they were relegated that season so🤞

6 - Manchester United have suffered their sixth home Premier League defeat of the season, their most from their opening 12 home matches of a league season since 1893-94 (7). Dismal.

Newton Heath were founded in 1878 as the club of a local railway but went bankrupt in 1902 and were bought by a group of local businessmen who renamed them Manchester United and now Manchester United are so bad they're breaking records back to before they were Manchester United.

They're gonna have to break out the green and gold again but less as a protest thing and more as a "the last time we were this shit green and gold were literally our home colours" thing 🤗
