In honor of LGBT Detroit's 30th anniversary, the impactful Men of Color Motivational Group celebrated a reunion on Tuesday, November 21, 2023. This celebration was held at the historical St. Matthew St. Joseph Episcopal Church, which was the original safe space for Men Of Color.
Hosted by Charles Coleman, the event honored the trailblazing work of Cornelius Wilson, with speakers including event co-chair Calvin Black, A. Nzere Kwabena, Dionta Brown, Jerron Totten, and Michigan State Rep. Jason Hoskins. We especially thank co-event chair Robert Tate, and designer Chris Cushman.
