Oskar is a PhD student at the University of Copenhagen, where he works on applied and computational aspects of algebraic geometry. Among other things, this includes tropical, toric and numerical techniques for studying polynomial systems arising in systems biology and statistics.

Dr. Dev Seacrest is a transmasculine professor at the University of Montana Western who advocates for all students, particularly those who struggle with traditional teaching methods. His TEDx talk “Supporting All Learners in Math and in Life” came out earlier this month.

We continue our Pride Campaign with Sophie Huiberts! Sophie is a researcher with CNRS in Clermont-Ferrand. Her work focuses on explaining why algorithms that work in practice might also work in theory and she often thinks about convex polyhedra. #PrideMath
