Spinal mobility movement...x.com/LGM_Studio/status/1634…

Hello #100devs and #fitdevs, it's #FunctionalFriday. I've been dancing a lot lately and discovered a great spinal mobility drill that we can do sitting, standing, kneeling, and on the dance floor... Let's look at the body roll 🧵👇...

Hello #100devs and #fitdevs! I've been busy lately and haven't posted in a while, but I've been sick AF all week and all this coughing has my neck and upper back feeling pretty bound up. Thought I'd share a breathing exercise to help loosen these areas for #FunctionalFriday 🧵👇

Here's a posterior expansion movement. Sitting, put your elbows on a table w/palms facing you. Inhale through the nose, exhale out the mouth while moving your body away from your hands by pushing your back, back. At the same time rotate your hands to the outside...

Hold the position while you inhale again, trying to push back further each time you exhale. This move pulls the scapula away from the ribcage, allowing it to expand with our breath and can help relieve neck and upper back tension. Do this for no more than 10 breaths 🤙

Alright #100Devs I need some help. I've an iframe that opens with a keydown event. To "close" the iframe I've a click event to remove the iframe from the parent element, I did this because simply hiding it still played the sound from the iframe...

With this setup, however, if the user clicks anywhere on the page before the keydown event it removes the iframe from the parent element, thus preventing it from popping up. How can I both hide the iframe and ensure the sound doesn't continue to play with a click event?

A small victory, just finished the @scrimba React course! Great course, time to bring that knowledge into my project. #100Devs

In a neutral position we want to start by lifting our chin to the ceiling, followed by our chest, then our sternum, then our stomach, and return everything back to neutral. Inhale on the lift and exhale when we bring the stomach in and sit into our hips a bit...

I like to keep my hand on my sternum until I get a feel for it. A great way to practice; stand with your toes up to a wall, and make sure to touch the wall with your chin, chest, sternum, and belly as you do the movement. Do this 10 times to really feel that spine loosen up 🤙
