The TDA report for the Limpopo River Basin clearly captures all the key challenges affecting the basin. Ms. Mthembu from the Republic of South Africa said this, adding that it is critical for riparian states to draft a comprehensive SAP & NAPs to address the identified problem.
Gilbert Mawere from the Republic of Zimbabwe noted that the complexity of transboundary water governance is easily addressed when riparian states build trust among themselves. He said this at the approval of the TDA report, which set in motion the development of the SAP & NAPs.
