I usually laugh at people buying stocks during their initial public offering ( IPO ) ...😂 Number one , u cannot sell ur allocation for 30 days according to the rules of IPO.. and if u sell , they can ban ur account from participating in future IPO's Number two , the main investors that bought at a cheaper rate than the rate on IPO will dump on u before you will be able to sell at profit or at ur buy price Number three , 98% of all stocks after IPO usually dump to -50 to -70% due to the sell pressure from bigger investors.... Then it will take years for it to revive Check the chart of Seplat , Aradel , bua cement , dangote cement during IPO and after IPO So it's advisable to use only 30% of ur initial capital to participate in the IPO ... Then use the remaining 70% to buy the dip after the IPO Dyor tho💙
