That story hits hard 🥺
Words cut deeper than we think. A child can carry, you’re dirty as a pig” for life.
Correction without cruelty is love. Silence is better than careless words.
Thanks for sharing this reminder. Have a peaceful, blessed weekend too egbon 🙏always remember to fear women
There was a 9 year old boy who is always playful and always looks dirty when coming from school, coincidentally his father happens to be a Drycleaner
Whenever he plays in school his teacher would always tell him he is as dirty as a pig
But he wouldn’t mind until one day he came to church and his Sunday school teacher saw his cloths though not dirty but visibly distress and unkept
His Sunday school teacher muttered the same word, u are as dirty as a pig despite the fact that ur dad js a dry cleaner
The Sunday school teacher continued I would have sent u back home to go change but next time don’t dress this way
But at that point the did was done, the boy has had enough
He told his Sunday school teacher he was going to change at home, unknown to the teacher the poor boy was going to commit S¥!C!D€
He got home and but for his neighbor who saw him, he could have killlllled him self
How heavy some words might be that we never know the impact it has on people
The neighbor brought him back to church and saw the Sunday school teacher and asked him
If someone called u a poor man as poor as a church rat how would u feel
The Sunday school teacher felt bad and appologised and since then promised to careful with his words
We can correct people without having to make them feel less of themselves
A soft answer turns away wrath, but grievous words stir up anger says prov 15:1
Mind your words either jokingly or deliberately
And if you have nothing good to say, SAY NOTHING AT ALL
Col 4:6
Let your speech be alway with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man.
Happy weekend and make sure u go to church tomrow
