"A safe, decent, and affordable home is key to individual health and well-being. Homelessness occurs because housing options are out of reach for the unhoused, and the severe and growing shortage of affordable housing is only exacerbating this situation." lisc.org/our-stories/story/l…
The Supreme Court ruling allowing jurisdictions to arrest unhoused people for sleeping outside is unjust and misguided. This will only worsen homelessness. We need additional resources for affordable housing and services, NOT criminalization of our most vulnerable people.
