Sgt. DeStefano represented us on Saturday at the Law Enforcement Torch Run in Johnsburg that supported @SO_Illinois. He carried the Flame of Hope, which is heading to this weekendโ€™s Summer Games in Bloomington-Normal where Special Olympics athletes will compete in seven sports.

The investigation into a bomb threat at Costco on Randall Road in Lake in the Hills has concluded. There is no longer a threat. No injuries have been reported.

At about 3:30 pm, police responded to a bomb threat at Costco on Randall. The building was evacuated and officers secured the area. Kane County Sheriffโ€™s Office responded with its bomb squad. A property search is being conducted. No injuries reported. Continue to avoid the area.
