Two football-mad brothers determined to clean up the world! Keep Britain Tidy Young #LitterHeroes Winners 2022, Kent Youth County Council members ⚽♻️ 🇬🇧 🇪🇬
Getting our house World Cup-ready is the equivalent of getting Christmas decorations down from the loft! We've been adding to our homemade flag collection since 2014. Come on Egypt (and England!)
We thought this hedgehog box was empty and wanted to check before cleaning it and repositioning it... So glad we moved a camera to face the box entrance tonight to check, just to make sure! 🦔🦔🤎🤎 #hedgehogs
It wasn't a one-off, these two appear to be housemates. The camera showed them going in and out all night and finally going to bed at 5.20 and 5.26 (amazingly the camera changed from dark to light in those 6 minutes!). @HedgehogCabin - this is the first time we've seen sharing 🤎
We spent the last week visiting Dubrovnik, Mostar and Sarajevo, and what we saw there will stay with us forever. How could it not? Our visits to the Museum of War Childhood & the Museum of Crimes Against Humanity were heartbreaking but so important to keep sharing & remembering.
Yesterday, without football, was the perfect time to do something positive at Tonbridge's grimmest roundabout! We saw up close just how heartbreakingly dangerous littering is to the innocent wildlife living alongside us. Litter kills! @KeepBritainTidy
A lesson in patience! We've not had a hedgehog sighting since September 😭 but all through winter left out fresh water and biscuits, just in case, and the magpies & blackbird have polished them off. We just had a sudden urge to check last night's footage... 🤎🤎 @HedgehogCabin
Eid Mubarak - we're always quite sad when Ramadan ends. It's been such a busy month. We've got new neighbours this year who've been bringing food over for us, which has been amazing on so many levels - and great to share ours too! Our litter picking mission continues! #EidMubarak
During the 2020 lockdown, we made this video to explain what #Ramadan is like for us. We thought we'd share it to give a bit of background as to why we've chosen to litter pick every day of this month, to keep busy and positive. #BigBagChallengeyoutu.be/R6j0mnjTNv0#Egypt
We heard from our granny about all the debris washing into shore on #Eastbourne beaches after shipping containers were lost in #StormGoretti, so took a trip down from Kent to Langney Point to help with the clean up. Never want to see another onion 🧅🧄 @BBCSussex
Starting 2026 with a bit of a grim haul, but the woodland near the railway yard in #Tonbridge is now 200 cans cleaner. We'd like to suggest a few New Year's Resultions to the serial can dumper - starting with "Not littering"... #HappyNewYear2026#lovewhereyoulive#Litterheroes
We've recycled our #Remembrance window that we first put up in the Pandemic. It feels important this year to honour our 2 great grandfathers who served in WWII & the message they fought for: peace, unity & freedom. By coincidence, one served in Egypt, our dad's home country ❤️
We spent the week in #Istanbul where we didn't need to unpack our litter pickers as the city was so clean & well looked after. Massively impressed by the huge underground bins, the incredible mosques and the love and kindness shown to cats across this beautiful, welcoming city.
Our candle is burning brightly as part of the #WaveOfLight marking the end of #BabyLossAwarenessWeek2025.
We never got to meet our beautiful big sister Mira, but she's always been a big part of our lives and a huge inspiration as we try to make the world a better place 💜
Today we are saying "#HelloYellow" for #WorldMentalHealthDay. Nature can really help to ground you and and getting outside, even for a few minutes, can lift your mood and make you feel connected to the world around you 💛#YoungMinds
We were invited to talk to a local Brownie group about two of our favourite subjects - #hedgehogs and #litter & took along a couple of litter-themed games to demonstrate just how important it is to take care of the world around us and make a positive difference! @GGKnoleDivision
