On Sunday staff from Little Learners volunteered at a community Sunday lunch at the community hall in Burnham. The community lunch is a free hot meal available to residents of Burnham to support anyone during these winter months. We met some lovely local residents. @BerrowPrimary

With Christmas approaching the children in breakfast club and afterschool club have been feeling festive with their Christmas activities. The children have made tea light holders, Christmas scene paintings and enjoyed using the festive stamps. @BerrowPrimary @AmyMarshTPLT

This week we having been learning about traditions from around the world. We have been making candles to put in the window like Ireland do and decorating stars to hang like they do in India at Christmas. We have also started our countdown to Christmas.

We have been exploring toys from the past and present and a parent brought in their rocking horse from home. We set up the tuff tray showing the children where different animals live and explored different painting techniques including painting on foil and clingfilm. .

A great week making hedgehog's using playdough and using a fork to give the hedgehog his spikes. we have been doing experiments using dry wipe markers and water, and been continuing our carpet time learning how to keep calm and relaxed. Even had time to plant some flowers.

We have learnt about different rooms in our house, talking about healthy eating, germs and washing our hands .We have also learnt about shapes. We made silly faces and drew around different shapes. The children have also shared what they are thankful for.
