Our children have been fascinated watching the various diggers, trucks and machines that have driven past as they work on the field opposite.
Some were huuuuge and noisy, but very, very exciting!

This area in our outdoor space is constantly a hive of activity. It is full of children creating, talking, discussing and it is magical to watch their play develop!

After reading our focus book, we had a go at carrying a basket of fruit on our head like Handa and discussed how we carry our things to preschool. We enjoyed reenacting the story too!

What a day we have had as we celebrated and supported @BBCCiN!
We decorated a HUGE Pudsey face, made porridge with Goldilocks and the bears and took part in the Joe Wicks activate challenge.

There were lovely discussions as the children created their homes, talking about the shapes, colours and parts of their house.

Following on from our interest and explorations of the apples we found in the garden, there was only one thing for itโฆ.CRUMBLE!
The children prepared and chopped their apples before making their crumble in their tray.

This morning we took a trip to our beautiful outdoor space!
There was teamwork, discussions, new vocabulary learnt and a whole lot of exploring as we connected with the outdoors.

We had a wonderful turn out for our โReading Cafe SPECIALโ based around our focus book โOwl Babies.โ
The children were delighted to see their grown ups arrive to share stories, craft together and choose books to borrow and read at home!

Autumn is definitely here and we are noticing changes all around!
Weโve been creative and made leaf rubbings and pumpkin printing with apples.
We looked at the colour changes in the leaves and talked about the apples and how they looked and smelled.
