LMS visited High Tech HS, MS, and ES in SD, CA. pervasive PBL and M/SC and ELA/SS blocks w art integrated inspire Ss
LMS visited Bulldog Tech in San Jose.PBL plus ELA/SS,M,and SC/PE blocks create a great culture that empowers kids.
LMS visiting Summit HS in Redwood City, CA. Learning about playlists, changing T and S and P roles, and the Activate learning platform.
The Katherine Smith ES in SJ, CA is an amazing PBL School!PBL pervasive from K-6.Real world applic and real learning.

Staff from Luella MS and ES are headed to visit Rocketship and Katherine Smith schools in San Jose. Excited to see how they do BL and PL.
Raising standards,depth,and rigor are the right work, but we must equip Ss with requisite learning and metacognitive mindsets to reach them.
Those who would rethink, reimagine and redesign the way they do school must grasp the significance and enormity of that work.
BL and PL are more about depth and rigor and engagement and mastery than moving kids quickly through standards so we can graduate them at 14

HCMS teachers visited LMS to see BL and the beginnings of PL. Together we are re-thinking and reimagining the way we do school.
LMS PTO honored bus drivers with a breakfast. They are the first and last staff to see our kids each day. Thank you!
