I'm chuffed to have some of my photos featured in the new @LNHSoc book 'The Butterflies of London'. It is a beautifully designed book, showing the range of butterflies found in the London region. I can't add a link for some reason but details can be found on the @LNHSoc website🦋

Garden wildlife. The appearance of a Jersey Tiger Moth made it a good time for a #BigButterflyCount! In the garden I'm generally seeing a few Speckled Wood, Peacocks and the occasional Comma, but unfortunately that's about it. #londonwildlife

There are many fallen trees all around the #BrentRiverPark. Leaving them to rot isn’t lazy, it’s part of the natural recycling process. They release nutrients slowly and are a great home to fungi, like these turkey tail, mosses and hundreds of mini beasts.
