I cannot in good conscious agree to a GOP proposal that would exclude thousands of workers from accessing frontline worker pay. These workers showed up and took care of us during this pandemic. DFLers at the MN State Capitol will keep fighting to take care of them. #mnleg

Let’s be clear: The DFL wants to be inclusive when providing pandemic pay to our frontline workers. The GOP has proposed to cut out many of the workers that cared for the children of other frontline workers, stocked our shelves, and cleaned our buildings during this pandemic.

From “masks optional” to distance learning. That didn’t take long. If you want schools to start open and stay open, follow the recommended guidelines. Vaccines. Masks. Social distancing. Hand washing. PPE. Cleaning.

All students deserve a classroom where they are taught with empathy & where childhood mistakes are seen as teaching opportunities. That's not reality for too many Black and brown students—I urge the administration to take action to address racial disparities in school discipline.

We need to properly fund public schools so they can have the infrastructure to be able to teach and learn in June (or any month!). The current situation is putting people's health at risk! #mnleg
