The only nane change should be those that sit in the seats up at the State House. Once again, it’s the same story at the State House wasted time, wasted money, and politicians patting themselves on the back for legislation that continues to hurt Rhode Islanders.
The House today approved legislation sponsored by @JulieCasimiroRI that would change the name of the Rhode Island Drug Court to the Rhode Island Recovery Court.
“As our understanding of substance abuse disorders continues to grow, it is important to do away with outdated terminology that may get in the way of recovery efforts. Although some may think this is a small change, in the eyes of those who come before the court, this new name will afford them a sense of dignity that will help them during their recovery and rehabilitation journey,” said Rep. Casimiro.

Its a shell game $150k in $150k out $275k in, probably take it out. No campaign engagement, you have to go back to mid 2024 to find a measly $2k in donations, off year campaign expenses to some family promotion company up to $25k, missed 400 plus votes??
