Nuestra segunda edición del Tianguis de Bitcoin fue un éxito: más personas, más comerciantes y más sats intercambiados.
Esta edición fue impulsada por @fedibtc y formó parte de Ledger Leaders Week @ForoBlockchain.
@LOReBitcoin, Community Master de Latam, hizo un gran trabajo durante todo el día ayudando a las personas a integrarse y a usar Fedi.
Más de 20 comerciantes aceptando únicamente Bitcoin. Todos los participantes pagando únicamente con Bitcoin.
❌¿Fue perfecto? No.
✅¿Funcionó Bitcoin como debería, es decir, como el dinero más libre y justo en la historia de la humanidad? Sí.
Queremos agradecer a todos los comerciantes que confiaron en el proceso. Sabemos con certeza que todos ganaron algunos satoshis ese día.
También queremos agradecer al equipo de Aureo por apoyar y coorganizar este evento.
No fue solo un tianguis, fue una prueba en la vida real de que Bitcoin funciona como debe. 🚀🇲🇽

I’m currently finalizing the last details for the second edition of the Tianguis de Bitcoin (Bitcoin Market) at La Casa de Satoshi, this time powered by @fedibtc.
It will also be the closing event of Ledger Leaders Week in CDMX. 🇲🇽 (@ForoBlockchain)
We already have 100 registrations and at least 15-20 merchants who will be selling a wide variety of goods, art, and services. The only condition: they can only accept Bitcoin, no pesos👀
We still have a few spots left for merchants, so send me a DM if you’re in CDMX and want to sell your stuff.
The first edition was a success, with almost 75,000 pesos worth of Bitcoin exchanging hands that day, so I’m sure this time will be even better. It’s just another proof that Bitcoin works perfectly as a form of money.
