JCPS is implementing a staggered return to school:
Friday, August 18: All elementary & middle school students return
Monday, August 21: All high school students return
Students at multilevel schools will return back with their level. For instance, Marion C. Moore middle school students will return to school Friday, August 18. Marion C. Moore high school students will return to school Monday, August 21.
All state agency schools will return on Friday, August 18.
All JCPS staff will report back to work beginning Tuesday, August 15.
We had a blast at the Back-to-School Bash tonight. It was wonderful to see all of our students again! Thank you to @DerbyDinner, @StageOneFamily, @kyshakespeare, @WMSFA and our other community partners!
Our Kindergarten students kicked off their LPAS experience today with fun activities and a tour of the school with Chester the Raccoon from “The Kissing Hand”. The students did such a wonderful job following instructions! We are going to have a great year!
