احتفلت الأسرة السالسية في بيت لحم، يوم الجمعة الموافق ١٢ حزيران ٢٠٢٦، بعيد قلب يسوع الأقدس، وذلك بإقامة قداسٍ احتفالي في كنيسة قلب يسوع الأقدس للآباء السالزيان، ترأسه سيادة المطران وليم شوملي، النائب البطريركي العام، بمشاركة الأب جيسيدوس أروكيام رئيس الدير، ولفيف من الكهنة والراهبات، إلى جانب أبناء الرعية وأهالي المدينة والكشافة. وعقب القداس، انطلق تطواف بالقربان الأقدس في شوارع مدينة بيت لحم، وسط أجواء إيمانية رُفعت خلالها الصلوات والترانيم، تعبيرًا عن الإيمان والمحبة لقلب يسوع الأقدس، وبمشاركة واسعة من المؤمنين الذين رافقوا مسيرة القربان الأقدس في شوارع المدينة. The Salesian Family in Bethlehem celebrated the Feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus on Friday, June 12, 2026, with a solemn Mass held at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church. The Mass was presided over by Msgr. William Shomali, General Vicar, together with Fr. Jesudoss Arockiam, head of the Salesian Monastery, along with several priests. The celebration was attended by many religious, faithful, and members of scout groups. Following the Mass, a Eucharistic procession carrying the Blessed Sacrament took place through the streets of Bethlehem. The procession was marked by a profound spirit of faith and devotion, with prayers and hymns offered in honor of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. A large number of faithful participated, accompanying the Blessed Sacrament throughout the streets of the city.

Today, His Beatitude will preside over the solemn celebration of the Feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, including the Holy Mass and procession.

الأربعاء ١٠ حزيران ٢٠٢٦، بدعوة من جمعية عمل المشرق (L’Œuvre d’Orient) وشبكة برنابا (Barnabas Network)، التقى غبطة الكاردينال بييرباتيستا بيتسابالا، بطريرك القدس للاتين، بممثلين عن قطاع التعليم المسيحي الكاثوليكي في مقر مديرية التعليم المسيحي الكاثوليكي في باريس. تحدث غبطته عن أوضاع المسيحيين في غزة والضفة الغربية والقدس وإسرائيل، مستعرضًا التحديات التي يواجهونها، وداعيًا إلى مواصلة الصلاة والدعم، كما شدّد على الدور المحوري للتعليم المسيحي في تنشئة الأجيال على الرجاء والمسؤولية، ليكونوا شركاء في بناء مستقبل الأرض المقدسة. واختُتم اللقاء بحوار مفتوح أجاب فيه غبطته عن أسئلة المشاركين. On Wednesday evening, June 10, at the invitation of the Œuvre d’Orient and the Barnabas Network, Cardinal Pierbattista Pizzaballa, Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem, met with representatives of Catholic education at the headquarters of the Diocesan Directorate of Catholic Education in Paris. The Patriarch spoke about the situation of Christians in Gaza, the West Bank, Jerusalem, and Israel, highlighting the challenges they face and calling for continued prayer, and support. He also underscored the vital role of Christian education in forming young people to persevere with hope and contribute to building the future of the Holy Land. J’ai remis les insignes de la Légion d’honneur au Patriarche latin de Jérusalem, le cardinal Pizzaballa. Alors que les populations civiles et, parmi elles, les chrétiens de Terre Sainte, sont pris dans la tourmente de la guerre, j’ai tenu à honorer par ce geste cet apôtre infatigable du dialogue interreligieux, de la justice et de la paix, et à exprimer la reconnaissance de la République pour son courage et son humanité. Conformément à ses responsabilités historiques, la France demeure engagée auprès des chrétiens de Terre Sainte, et de tous les peuples du Proche et Moyen-Orient. J’ai redit à ce titre au cardinal Pizzaballa notre attachement indéfectible au respect du statu quo sur les lieux saints de Jérusalem. Seules la tolérance et la diversité religieuse rendent possible la paix dont cette région du monde a tant besoin.

L’Œuvre d’Orient se réjouit de la remise de la Légion d’honneur à S.B. Pierbattista Pizzaballa Présent en France jusqu’au 14 juin, Sa Béatitude Pierbattista Pizzaballa, Patriarche Latin de Jérusalem, a été reçu ce matin au Palais de l’Élysée et décoré de la Légion d’honneur par le Président de la République française. Cette distinction vient saluer son engagement au service des populations de Terre Sainte et du dialogue entre les peuples.

The Seminary of the Latin Patriarchate celebrated the Solemnity of Corpus Christi with a festive Mass presided over by H.E. Bishop Ilario Antoniazzi. The celebration also marked the Silver Jubilee of the priestly ordination of Fr. Samer Madanat, Fr. Firas Aridah, and Fr. Shawqi Baterian, as well as the conferral of minor ministries upon several seminarians: Amjad Haddad and Yousef Handel were admitted to Candidacy and received the clerical habit; Fayez Ziadat and Fadi Fattal were instituted as lectors; and lector Salameh Azar was instituted as an acolyte. May the Lord continue to guide these seminarians in their vocation, strengthening them in faith, generosity, and fidelity as they prepare for the priesthood.

٤ حزيران ٢٠٢٦، ترأس غبطة الكاردينال بييرباتيستا بيتسابالا، بطريرك القدس للاتين، القداس الإحتفالي بعيد جسد الرب ودمه الأقدسين أمام قبر المقدس، بمشاركة عدد من الأساقفة والكهنة والمؤمنين، وأعقبت الاحتفالَ الدورةُ الاحتفالية بالقربان الأقدس. وفي عظته، أكّد غبطته أن سر الإفخارستيا هو حضور المسيح الحيّ الذي يهب الحياة للعالم ويغير حياة المؤمنين من الداخل، قائلًا: «التناول من القربان المقدس ليس مجرد فعلٍ تعبدي، بل هو استقبال حياة المسيح في أعماق كياننا»، وأشار إلى أن من يتغذّى من المسيح مدعوّ لأن يحمل هذه الحياة إلى الآخرين، فيصبح شاهد للمحبة والرجاء في عالمنا اليوم.
