The @LPNational has new leadership, the core of a great judicial committee, and passed some key bylaws reforms including introducing electronic voting in the future. A new LPNH that doesn’t work for the Republican Party will be welcomed to affiliate status soon. It’s the job of all radical libertarians to work with their local, state, and national parties to keep the Party on track ideologically and support candidates with strong libertarian messaging. We hope you’ll join us in that work! Join your local/state lp, the national party, and *lastly* the @LPRadicals to move us onward 💕

Congrats!!
🚨 SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT🚨 WE ARE QUALIFIED for the 2026 Special Election. I will be ON THE BALLOT as ADDISON LIBERTY PATRICK (LPF), alphabetically by last name. LPF stands for the Libertarian Party of Florida, where we believe in all your rights, all the time. It is critical that we move our city forward and we need to take great care in HOW we do it. To support, please visit addisonlibertypatrick.com to donate or volunteer. It takes all of us working together to tackle the issues that matter to Jacksonville. Housing, growth/development, police/public safety, and more. I care about what you care about and I don’t play favorites!

There are so many things to criticize Democrats over, but here you are slamming them for blocking unconstitutional spying on Americans. You absolutely suck at this.
As millions of Americans gather for large events and summer celebrations, Democrats just BLOCKED the FISA Section 702 national security statute, hampering our ability to detect foreign terrorist threats. This comes after Democrats shut down Homeland Security. This is a stunning and dangerous fact: Democrats are now willing to put petty politics over public safety.
Community note
The House vote to extend FISA Section 702 failed 198-218, with 19 Republicans joining Democrats in opposition. clerk.house.gov/Votes/2026221 nbcnews.com/politics/trump… politico.com/news/2026/06/1…

New Jersey does not appear to have a residency requirement for petitioners, only those signing. This is a bad ruling done to protect the old parties.
Integrity did not prevail today. Administrative Law Judge William Courtney ruled in favor of a position that has been consistently deemed unconstititonal. The first amendment is clear on political speech. Our freedom of speech has been violated. Having out of state circulators, paid or volunteer, is common practice in New Jersey and throughout the country by Republicans, Democrats, Libertarians, Greens and Independents alike. There is an entire industry built around this one task of achieving ballot access. Circulators are the ones holding the clipboard and witnessing the signatures. Those who sign still have to be registered voters in the district. I hope Secretary of State Dale Caldwell will reject the judgment recommendation as he did with CD12 candidate Sue Altman's challenge, two months ago for the same reason. I encourage everyone to contact the Department of State 609-292-6260 | Feedback@sos.nj.gov and tag @DaleCaldwell on social media with your opinions. My petition was not otherwise fraudulent, misleading or invalid. Hundreds of registered voters in District 7 signed my nominating petition. Those voters are now disenfranchised. The Republican State Committee has not challenged candidates in previous years who have had out a state circulators, why now? They see me as a threat. Tom Kean Jr. has been missing from congress for over three months. They are afraid to compete with a candidate who is not beholdent to corporations, lobbys, or billionaires. They are afraid to compete will someone who will fight to end war, end state surveillance and who will actually show up to her job. You see, this is not about election integrity. This is not about what's right for the voters. It's about eliminating competition. They hate competition. The Libertarian Party is the third largest political party in the country and deserves to have permanent ballot access in New Jersey. For too long, third parties have been systemically disempowered. Enough is enough. It's time for third parties to put our ideological differences aside and come together on this. I cannot do this without you. Do you want political change? Do you want your future to look different? Then it starts with ballot access. It starts here. I'm not giving up. Be well. Be free.

#liberty indeed LPRC Platform Section 1.6 Freedom of Religion: "We defend the right of individuals to engage in any religious activities which do not violate the rights of others. In order to defend religious freedoms, we advocate a strict separation of church and state. We oppose government actions which define, aid, or attack any religion or religious membership."
So which other rights aren’t “absolute?” Freedom of religion? The right to protest? A fair trial? No cruel and unusual punishment? Where’s the line James? Because “shall not be infringed” seems pretty absolute to us.

“The Fourth Amendment is the real tyranny.” —Stephen Miller, translated
Across the West, leftist judicial tyranny propels marxism and reverses patriotic reform. Blocking FISA 702 to demand more power for leftist judges is a continuation of the same strategic & ideological error that gave the left decades of institutional dominance in the first place.

#liberty indeed LPRC Platform Section 1.5 Languages: "Government should have no role in regulating, standardizing, or mandating which language people use in schools, places of work, or any other private situation. Although English is the most widely used language in the United States, it is not the official language of the country, despite various states attempting to mandate its use, including instruction in schools. We support complete separation of government and language and leave it to the individuals in question which mode of communication they deem most appropriate."

Order doesn’t always need a designer. When deaf children in Nicaragua invented their own language, they proved a timeless truth of liberty: Lasting systems (like markets and languages) emerge from the bottom up. Paul Meany’s essay reveals how the emergence of Nicaraguan Sign Language mirrors the same principles that sustain free societies. Read now: cato.org/free-society/fall-2…

The only government of the people, for the people, by the people I believe in is self-government, which would more accurately be described as the government of the person, for the person, by the person. 😉

Thanks for stopping by the LPRC suite @Miller4NCSenate and @BadEvan
I've been far too tired for afterparties this convention, but I made myself go out last night anyways. I'm glad I did. I made a few new friends. Had some great conversations. Changed my mind on something. I was in the room when this speech was given by our new Chair @BadEvan

Thanks to @LPNational for inviting me to deliver a keynote at the Libertarian National Convention in my hometown of Grand Rapids. As we celebrate America’s 250th birthday, I spoke about our libertarian heritage, the Constitution under assault, and how we must seize this moment.
