RIP to artist Lois Curtis. She had an intellectual disability and diagnosed with mental illness. She was the plaintiff in the Olmstead vs L.C. that led to a Supreme Court decision benefitting the elderly and disabled to move out of institutional care and into their own home.

HBO Max has a reality show called “Homegrown,” where Atlanta farmer Jamila Norman helps families who want to transform their backyards into fruit & veggie gardens do so.
And it’s so good. I’m learning so much, and how necessary is someone like her as the need grows.
