It was great to be back at @LincsCathedral earlier this week to celebrate the official opening of the new Visitor Centre. The day also marked the completion of the West Front restoration, allowing it to be seen without scaffolding for the first time in over 30 years!

As it’s been raining tonight we are inside and carrying out final adjustments to our new scheme at All Hallows, Gospel Oak - just ahead of the Bishop’s visit on Sunday. The new pendants are looking quite magnificent. #lighting #historiclighting

As part of the Leaves of Southwell project, new external lighting has been put in. Now we can see the beauty of the Minster even at night!
Smaller, modern, energy efficient LED lights replace the bulky 40 year-old models, saving 75% of previous running costs!
